Our media friends from The Manila Times featured our Vegan and vegetarian dishes recently. Here are excerpts taken from the article:
NOTHING beats a meal that leaves bellies and hearts full; even more so when it’s healthy and guilt-free. At The Manila Hotel, guests can now experience this with the vegan and vegetarian dishes offered across its restaurants.
The hotel’s introduction of vegan and vegetarian dishes aims to challenge the perception that vegan and vegetarian food is bland, boring or unpalatable. Through constantly evolving plant-based offerings, the hotel shows that vegan and vegetarian food can be just as delicious, nutritious and satisfying as any other.
The Manila Hotel President Jose “Joey” Lina Jr. says the “demand is growing” for healthier food options, and that the hotel’s vegan and vegetarian initiatives are a timely response to this trend.
Lina adds that the hotel aspires to not only serve remarkably good plant-based meals but also leave a “lasting memory” to guests through their dining experience.
“Our menus are rooted in freshness and balance,” says the executive chef.
Chef Walter continues, saying, “We focus on seasonal produce and non-processed ingredients to create dishes that are not only nutritious but also full of flavor. We’ve seen guests try them out of curiosity and walk away surprised at how satisfying and complex vegan cuisine can be.”
