The Manila Hotel spa upholds these ancient and traditional methods to de-stress the mind and body, giving one a heightened sense of peace and well-being.  

The Hilot Treatment is unique to the Philippines, begins with scanning the back to identify areas needing extra attention. Banana leaves soaked in warm coconut oil are then applied to the back for complete relaxation. Specific meridians are manipulated to address problem areas, promoting a sense of total well-being.

We help recreate the essential escape-like environment that allows our guests to “disconnect” momentarily from their daily life and “give in” to rituals that can last for up to two hours long.
