The Manila Hotel’s famed Champagne Room takes part in the prestigious Goût de France 2024. Having joined the global celebration of French gastronomy in 2019, the Champagne Room marks its return to the festival following the pandemic hiatus.
Goût de France, a worldwide culinary event, celebrates the richness and diversity of French cuisine. The Manila leg is organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines, in collaboration with the Embassy of France. This year’s global theme, “Sport and Gastronomy,” is aligned with Paris hosting the 2024 Olympic Games, highlighting the connection between fine dining and athletic excellence.
The Manila Hotel’s participation underscores its commitment to culinary excellence and its dedication to providing guests with extraordinary dining experiences. From June 1 to 9, 2024, a special set menu, curated by Executive Chef Konrad Walter, will be offered at the Champagne Room. The menu features traditional French cuisine that pays tribute to quality ingredients prepared using authentic French techniques. The 6-course meal includes Tartare of Chilled Norwegian on Salmon Mascarpone Orange Sauce; Cream of Sea Scallop infused by Saffron; Roast Lamb Rack Vert Pre Rosemary Jus, Garlic Confit, Gratin of Potato Puree; French Cheese Selection; Gateau au Chocolate Fresh Raspberry, Vanilla Sauce and French Macarons with a choice of coffee or tea.
