Aug 23, 2011
Manila Hotel pays tribute to music luminaries with a photo exhibit at the Taproom. The exhibit called “Taproom Memories: A Photo Exhibit of Music Icons” will be unveiled on September 2, 2011 and will feature rare photos of artists, musicians, and jazz performers who visited the Grand Dame.
Curated by African-American filmmaker and photographer Collis Davis, the exhibit will showcase the photos of Tirso Cruz, Sammy Davis Jr., Gloria Estefan, Andion Fernandez, Cecile Licad, Michael Jackson, Jazz for Kicks, Glenn Miller, Liza Minelli, Angel Matias Peña, Romy Posadas, and Lea Salonga during their stay at Manila Hotel.
The Taproom, with its old English pub-inspired interiors, dark timber ceiling, and plush armchairs accented by a magnificent Tiffany bay window, has a unique soulful and friendly atmosphere making it a perfect place to unwind after a day’s work. Early this year, the Taproom launched an excellent roster of jazz performers bringing back memories of soothing nights with good friends.
Taproom is open daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM. For inquiries, please call 527 9469.
